East Anglia based Generator Engineer
Who are we looking for:
- Field based Generator Engineer to cover the East Anglia area of UK and report to the area office depot in Peterborough, PE7 3FW.
- Applicant must have several years’ experience in all types of generator repairs, maintenance, and electrical control panels. Both with new and used sets with sizes up to 2,000kVA
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong analytical and fault finding skills
- A team player with a can-do attitude
Remuneration and benefits:
- Salary up to £34,000
- 40 hour week, 8am to 4.30pm
- Overtime at 1.5x / 2x

Key activities:
- Carry out preventative maintenance in the field on a variety of diesel generators
- Experience in load testing and load banking of all generators
- Diagnose and repair both mechanical and electrical faults including control systems
- Proficient in wiring control panels and ATS panels, such as, Deep Sea Electronics
- Generate detailed reports for repairs completed and further works required using Protean software
- Be prepared to discuss with customers any servicing or fault queries
- Work with full adherence to the company and customer Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies
- Professional communication internally and externally
